Ch Meadowlake Mona Lisa is an exceptional bitch with an exquisite head and overall exemplifies superior breed type.  Her superior type was recognized by the magnificent  judge/  terrier man, Mr. Peter Green, at the 2008 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York where he awarded her Best of Breed. She was also pulled in the group that evening by the renowned  Mrs. Betty Anne Stenmark.  An evening we shall never forget. 

Sired by Killian, she is also the daughter of Ch Meadowlake Masterpiece, Border Terrier Dam of the Year in 2008 for Ch’s produced. Mona is also a litter sister to BIS GCh. Meadowlake Whistler, GCh Meadowlake Van Gogh, GCh Meadowlake Matisse, and Ch Meadowlake Oban O’ Brandywine. Mona is also a full sister to BIS BISS GCh Meadowlake Overnight Celebrity.

Mona is CERF clear, Heart and Patella's OFA'd Normal and OFA Hips Good.

Mona is the dam of several champions already, one of which has already been recognized by Mr. Kenneth McDermott (Ch Meadowlake Pumpkin Spice) by being given an Award of Merit at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog show in 2011. She is also the dam of GCh Meadowlake Fountain Bleau, Meadowlake Brown Sugar and Am. Can. Ch Meadowlake Black Muddy River.

Our future plans for Mona are yet undecided, she may be retired at the end of 2011.
